Food and beverage

When thoughts turn to food, we’ll bring it to you whenever you want. Choose from an enticing selection of dishes designed to reflect our unique Australian cuisine created from the finest fresh local produce including dishes from Australian celeb chef Luke Mangan on our US routes, all served on beautiful Narumi china. We match our food to an eclectic selection of wines compiled by our wine consultant from boutique Australian and overseas wineries served in sparkling Riedel glassware.

Talking of wine, there’s something oh so marvellous about a bar in the sky. So if you feel like a change of scene, swing by and have a drink or two at the boutique bar. You never know who you might meet.

Bar

You can swing by the bar for a drink or two on us as soon as we hit cruise altitude. It seats six people, and at quiet times you’re welcome to settle in and order a meal.

Entertainment

V Australia’s RED is the latest in on-demand in-flight entertainment, brought to you by Panasonic. RED is fully touch-screen and handset controlled, and will sing to you, play with you, make you laugh and help you fall asleep.
With RED’s box office hits, TV favourites, games and music, you won’t ever have to feel lonely or bored throughout your flight.

Using your mobile phone to stay in touch with colleagues, friends and family all throughout your journey will be V Easy.

We’ve partnered up with Panasonic to bring you the eXPhone system incorporating AeroMobile’s email and SMS connectivity technology, a world-first in connectivity technology across the Pacific, so you can use mobile or smart phone (such as BlackBerrys and iPhone) to send and receive text messages and emails just as you would on the ground and in the office.

Keep your mobile phone or PDA switched on or off during your flight – the choice is yours.

Row 5 Privacy Suite
